Why You Are Doubting Yourself Now?
FREE INTRO SESSION · 11 MINUTES
Neuroscientist Dr. Jura Lasas explains what is actually happening in your brain, and gives you one question you can use the next time you walk out of a meeting certain you fumbled.
What you’ll learn in 11 minutes
Why your ability and your confidence are two different things. They run in different parts of the brain, which is why they can drift apart, and why you can be performing perfectly well while believing you are not.
Why this arrived now, in your forties or fifties. The part of the brain that grades your work depends on estrogen being steady, and in perimenopause estrogen stops being steady. The work carries on. The grading does not.
One question you can use this week. The camera question. It takes thirty seconds, it works on a bad day, and it is yours to keep whether or not you ever buy anything.

About Dr. Jura Lasas
Dr. Jura Lasas is a neurobiologist with a PhD from the University of Washington and postdoctoral training at the RIKEN Institute in Japan. She has spent over a decade in clinical trials and biotech, turning complex science into practical decisions.
She is going through perimenopause herself, which is part of why she started Ticking Biology. She explains the science the way she would have wanted someone to explain it to her. She runs every Live Session personally, and she is in the practice group herself, which is why places are limited.
